Xbox Game Pass reveals new games for October



Xbox has announced new titles coming to Xbox Game Pass for October 2021. Specifically, three titles are expected to join Xbox Game Pass this week, with Fully accurate combat simulator actually being available starting today, while five more titles will join Xbox Game Pass next week, including new video games Back 4 Blood and The good life. The platforms for which titles will be available through Xbox Game Pass vary, as usual, but console, PC, and via the cloud are all included among them.

Specifically, in addition to the above, The procession to Calvary and Face will all join Xbox Game Pass to some extent this week while Destiny 2: Beyond the Light, Ring of Pain, and The fault breaker will join next week.

Here is the new list of upcoming Xbox Game Pass titles in order of release and their descriptions on Xbox:

October 5:

  • Fully accurate combat simulator (Cloud, console and PC)
  • The description: Fully accurate combat simulator celebrates its full release after a successful performance in the Game Preview program! Be the leader of wobblers from ancient lands, spooky locations and fantastic worlds. Watch them fight in simulations made with the most wobbly physics system ever, create your own wobblers in the Unit Creator or send your army to fight your friends in multiplayer.

October 7:

  • The procession to Calvary (Cloud, console and PC)
  • Description: A Pythonesian adventure game in which you travel through a richly detailed landscape constructed from hundreds of Renaissance paintings. Embark on a quest as an anonymous heroine to hunt down the tyrant Heavenly Peter. Meet a group of strange characters, puzzling puzzles and implausible scenarios.
  • Face (Cloud, console and PC)
  • The description: Face is a first-person psychological horror game. Explore an ever-changing mysterious house in a slow-paced atmospheric world that combines both incredibly heartwarming and horribly realistic environments, and have a truly terrifying experience.

October 12:

  • Back 4 Blood (Cloud, console and PC)
  • The description: Back 4 Blood is an exciting cooperative first-person shooter from the creators of the critically acclaimed game Left for dead franchise. Experience the intense 4-player co-op storytelling campaign, competitive multiplayer as a Human or Ridden, and frenzied gameplay that keeps you in the action.
  • Destiny 2: Beyond the Light (PC)
  • Description: A new power has arisen from the ancient Pyramid ship above the frozen border of Europe, and a dark empire has risen below, united under the banner of the Fallen Kell of Darkness, Eramis. Join your fellow Guardians and bring the Empire down at all costs, even if that means wielding the Dark itself.

October 14:

  • Ring of Pain (Cloud, console and PC)
  • Description: Enter the Ring of Pain, a roguelike card crawler where encounters come to you. Every step around the ring is a disastrous decision. Go grab the loot or stab some creeping horror in the back? Meet strange friends with gifts and treasures. Choose your gear wisely to survive and uncover secrets.
  • The fault breaker (Cloud, PC and Xbox Series X | S)
  • Description: You are an elite scientist / commando inside an advanced Mecha-Suit. Enter a one-way portal to a distant planet with the goal of building a base that will return to Earth and continue colonization. Build your base, collect samples and research new inventions to survive.

October 15:

  • The good life (Cloud, console and PC)
  • Description: Journalist Naomi Hayward is drowning in debt. After accepting a request from The Morning Bell newspaper to “uncover the mystery of a small English town”, Naomi finds herself far from home in New York, in Rainy Woods, known as “the happiest place in the world” .
