Update, 11:40 p.m.: The incident began around 9.10pm as deputies observed suspicious activity in the car park. Deputies saw a vehicle with an open trunk traveling above the posted speed. Deputies heard and saw shots fired. The deputies radioed the dispatcher for assistance and the patrol deputies who responded stopped the vehicle.
Several deputies, as well as Clarksville Police and the Tennessee Highway Patrol responded, and deputies arrested an adult and two juvenile suspects. Deputies recovered bullet casings, a firearm and seized at least one vehicle. Sheriff John Fuson sent members of the Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Division to the scene and they are currently processing evidence and taking witness statements.
“The sheriff’s office routinely has extra deputies at school-sponsored sporting events, like tonight’s football game,” Wojnarek said. “This is particularly useful when situations arise or escalate and we are already there.”

CLARKSVILLE, TN (NOW CLARKSVILLE) – Gunfire disrupted the football game at West Creek High School Friday night.
Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Mark Wojnarek said the shooting happened around 9:10 p.m.
“No one was injured. Deputies arrested two persons of interest in connection with the shooting and located bullet casings and a firearm,” Wajnarek said. “We have no reports of injuries for the moment.”
Wojnarek said the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department advises anyone still picking up children, family or friends to meet at the reunification point at West Creek Middle School.
“People are urged to drive carefully,” he said.
Law enforcement was on the scene and had “persons of interest” arrested.
