Harcourts Game of Phones sees competitors calling and confirming as many ratings as possible.

The announcement:

Real estate royalty recently battled it out in the Harcourts 2022 National Rating Campaign.

‘Harcourts Game of Phones – Appraisals are Coming’ saw agents, property managers and offices from across the continent compete for the supreme glories of being named ‘Greatest of Call Time’, ‘The Call Star’ or ‘Landlord of the Rings’.

Open to all Harcourts, NAI Harcourts and Nutrien Harcourts agents and offices, Game of Phones attracted a large number of eager participants.

“We are just delighted with the enthusiastic reception of our One Team across Australia,” said Kingmaker and Australian CEO Adrian Knowles.

In a strictly timed period, competitors had to call and confirm as many expertises as possible. Armed with advice and training scripts, everyone’s phones heated up as the numbers piled up.

“As well as going to one of our main values - fun and laughter – the training and application of learned skills go beyond the ‘Game’ and into the real business of real estate”, continued Mr. Knowles.

“Generate listings and sales.”

Harcourts Game of Phones took place over two sessions, with entertainment and other advice in between.

It was an intense morning, but then, fortified by the pizza, the competition turned up a notch in the afternoon.

With live video crossovers to Harcourt’s offices across the board, competitors were acutely aware of each other’s numbers.

The sand in the hourglass flowed as time ticked away, and with the chilling cry of “Phones down!”, the game was over.

“It was as fun and as energetic as an auction!” laughed auction co-host Christian Hamilton, “and from me, that’s saying something!”

As well as being an exciting competition in its own right, Game of Phones is a precursor to two monster auction weekends taking place in October.

Called ‘The Big Bid’, they promise to be another special Harcourts event.

“Harcourts Game of Phones turned out to be a most majestic battle! Full of furious fun, it was a morning of gorgeous manic messages and an afternoon of amazing judging articulations,” enthused Mr. Knowles as the counts were made and the calls were tallied.

In the end, the numbers told the story:

More than 500 brave souls took part in the battle, making approximately 2214 successful rating reservations. Each made the pride of the kingdom of Harcourts.
