Merging Warzone’s Battle Royale and Vanguard Royale Modes in Season 2 Reloaded Update

Rebirth Island as we know it is getting a major overhaul alongside Warzone Pacific Season 2 Reloaded. Raven has announced changes that will shake up the map by introducing new POIs like Stronghold and Docks.

Warzone players have been enjoying what Rebirth Island has to offer since the start of Warzone Season 2. It seems like every day a Warzone pro tests out a brand new Rebirth Island loadout that speaks to the map’s popularity with casual and professional players alike.

With Warzone Season 2 Reloaded just around the corner, Raven has confirmed the arrival of Rebirth Island Reinforced, a revamped version of Rebirth Island.

Here’s what you need to know about Rebirth Island Reinforced, including the release date, new points of interest, and new features.

Rebirth Reinforced Release Date

The developers have said that the new Rebirth Island map will arrive on March 23 with the Warzone Pacific Season 2 Reloaded update. Expect the update to go live at 9:00 a.m. PT / 12:00 p.m. ET / 4:00 p.m. GMT on all platforms.

When the Warzone Season 2 roadmap was released ahead of the major new season update, Rebirth Island fans were drawn in by the mention of the map changes and it looks like the wait is almost over.

New reinforced points of interest

Thanks to Beenox and Raven Software, players will receive an updated version of Rebirth Island. The developers used player feedback to polish the Rebirth map and there are bound to be some exciting new POI additions.

Renaissance Reinforced Fortress Point of Interest

Rebirth of the POI Fortress

What Rebirth Island fans knew as Security at the southern tip of the island will soon be known as Stronghold. The new POI appears to have a long road that leads to a fortress-like building, which explains the name Stronghold.

Considering the isolation of the area and the fact that there is really only one way to reach the back position, it will likely prove to be a difficult area to infiltrate. On the other hand, positions of power could prove excellent as enemies take the stretched route to get to you.

Rebirth Reinforced Docks Point of Interest

Revival of points of interest

Another nice addition is the inclusion of the POI Docks. Although Rebirth Island has a Dockside area, we can clearly see that Rebirth Reinforced has a vital Docks POI on the west side of the map.

Of course, the most notable feature of this new POI is a massive boat that can be seen in the map image. Interestingly, an identical boat can also be found on the eastern side of the map, near the factory point of interest.

Along with the new points of interest, players can expect various cosmetic changes: “Head to the main courtyard of the prison to see it partially reinforced and the building materials used on it, which can be used as cover or as platforms for jumping onto the guard wall catwalks. ”

Enhanced Features

Weapons Exchange Station

Arms Trading Stations Renaissance Island

One of the most interesting changes coming to Rebirth Reinforced is the addition of the weapon swap station. These stations are similar to buy stations, but instead of buying items like gas masks with a dollar amount, players will be able to use their weapons as currency.

Essentially, you’ll be able to trade weapons for items like self-revives, gas masks, and more. This unique feature will also make its way to Caldera later this year: a lower quality plus additional items, depending on the rarity of the original weapon.

Redeploy balloons

By now most Warzone players are familiar with Redeploy Balloons thanks to Caldera and they will also be heading to Rebirth Reinforced. We already know that Redeploy Balloons are great tools for repositioning on the map.

With the prison island being so small, it will be interesting to note how they are used against the massive Caldera battlefield, “with a shorter ascending cable to properly balance the amount of ground one can cover. with them across the island”.

Enhanced Rebirth Modes

New Rebirth Island Modes

Rebirth versions of Payload and Blood Money will be coming to Rebirth Island as the developers believe it suits the small map well. Blood Money is a Plunder-like mode that gives players “a big payout for Kills even if their target has little or no money on them.” this will likely be a great mode for grinding weapon levels.

Meanwhile, Payload mode will have players escort or attempt to stop an armored truck on Rebirth Island. Players will be divided into two teams of 12 vs. 12 in order to complete the objective.

Finally, players will also receive Rebirth Resurgence solos that will allow them to test their skills on their own. “In this Solo variant, Operators will have their respawn meter already activated. This means they will have one free life before needing to earn points for additional respawns”

New design for Rebirth Island

At the start of Warzone Season 2 Reloaded, players will be treated to the enhanced Rebirth event. You will have the chance to win a legendary LMG blueprint, a ton of XP, and more new features. One of these features is the previously mentioned Weapon Exchange Stations that will be active during the Revival Enhanced Event.

The developers have promised community challenges for players to work on: “The first of these is to simply earn victories on the island. If the entire community earns enough kills after the update, those who participated will automatically receive 25,000 XP and unlock the use of weapon trading stations on the island.

That’s about all we know about the new Rebirth Reinforced map arriving with the Warzone Season 2 Reloaded update.
