Men’s hockey adds game at Army West Point on Saturday

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pennsylvania – Penn State Men’s Hockey has announced the addition of a single game against Army West Point scheduled for Saturday, January 1 at the Tate Rink in West Point, New York. The game comes in the wake of the Nittany Lions New Years series, with Maine canceled earlier this week due to positive COVID-19 results in the Black Bear program.

This is the first meeting between Penn State and the Army since opening night at the Pegula Ice Arena on October 11, 2013, when the Nittany Lions won 4-1 over the Black Knights in front of a crowd of 6,370 people, the second largest crowd in construction history. It is also only the second meeting between the two teams at West Point as Penn State claimed a 5-0 victory at Tate Rink on October 26, 2012.

The face-off is scheduled for 5:05 p.m. Saturday night and the game will be available to stream on by clicking on HERE.
