KSAT 12’s Big Game Coverage tailgate party at Ranger Stadium for Smithson Valley-Wagner showdown

This week’s KSAT Big Game Coverage (BGC) pre-game night heads to Spring Branch for recreation of the massive Smithson Valley housing district on the way to Wagner.

This is the main district showdown for the Rangers and Thunderbirds in the extremely aggressive 27-6A District. Wagner shocked Smithson Valley 27-24 in overtime at Rutledge Stadium last season.

Every Friday at 6:20 p.m. on KSAT.com, KSAT’s David Sears and RJ Marquez linger over the Big Game of the week.

David and RJ interact with the fans, band members, cheerleaders, ROTC teams and students who are part of the environment that makes Friday nights enjoyable.

(Check out last week’s BGC pre-game night where David loved the famous frito pie served at the concession stand at Bulldog Stadium in Somerset.)

The weekly live broadcast will begin around 6:20 p.m. each Friday evening before kickoff. This is all part of our extended KSAT Big Game coverage throughout the 2021 season.
