Released in 2017, Fortnite is one of the greatest battle royale games. What sets it apart from other titles in the genre is that the game requires players to build fortifications in addition to shooting.

It received the Game Critics Awards 2018 for the best current game among several others during the years 2018 and 2019. Unsurprisingly, the game has become a global phenomenon and remains one of the most watched video games on Twitch.

That being said, Epic Games frequently updates the game with several new bugs and issues. Some of the recent issues reported by players include matchmaking issues when playing in split screen mode and “Smash Attack” drop damage with Sideway Scythe.

Now, many are reporting that Fortnite has several stability issues on the Nintendo Switch. Some have complained that their teammates are not charging when playing with friends.

The first few days I bought the battle pass for Nintendo, all three (duo, squads, trios). showed teammates in the upper left corner with names etc. Now when I try, no name appears including mine. My game is ready to fill. The only time this will work is if I join a friends party and then he’ll show up as a duo with his name and mine. My son’s profile on the switch works fine and both worked the first couple of days so I’m not sure what the problem is. His still shows names as usual

Thankfully, the developers at Fortnite have finally recognized the stability issues on the Nintendo Switch when players log in or return to the lobby. However, there is no ETA on when a fix will be released.

But that’s not the only bug players are currently facing. Many say that Fortnite is unable to keep up with progress when it comes to certain challenges on the Battle Pass challenges.

This is really frustrating for both beginners and experienced alike as some players thought the challenges would go nowhere and caused a lot of confusion among players as the challenges disappear without any warning.

I need to survive 20k. I came back this season and I just can’t seem to figure out how much more I need. Before, I played almost exclusively in TR, so the progress was quite slow. But I’ve done a lot of solos, so I’m curious when I can unlock the Golden Ice King.

Fortunately, Epic Games recognized the Fortnite issue where players could not track the progress of Battle Pass challenges. They said the missions will be completed automatically in a future update.
