Yu Gi Oh ! Rush Duel Dawn Of The Battle Royale !! is the latest Yu-Gi-Oh game released by Konami, although international audiences may not be quite aware of it as it is an exclusive Nintendo Switch digital eShop outside of Japan.

Players will generally use most of what is in their hands in Rush Duels, as they can now summon as many monsters as they want as long as they meet the conditions and their monster areas are not full. However, there are only three monster card areas instead of the standard five.
It also means that players can summon a tribute multiple times in a single turn without needing to use specific card effects for special summons, as long as they still meet the requirements, of course. Five- and six-star monsters always require tribute, and monsters with seven or more stars always require two, so you should always be careful not to put too many high-level monsters in your deck.

5 Crafting Custom Decks must be unlocked
One annoying aspect of Dawn of the Battle Royale is that custom decks normally can’t be crafted until the story ends. Unfortunately, players have to rely on pre-made decks and deck recipes they’ve completed so far. This is a great option for those who are still learning, you don’t mind grinding for more cards.
However, players who already understand the new rules well enough can go to the far right door inside the student council room once they unlock it (where the minimap disappears) and grab the Konami code to unlock the feature. While hiding the option until post-game isn’t the best feature, at least some way to unlock it early is still provided.
Players who are struggling to adapt to the new format and don’t earn a lot of GP (the currency used in the game) can complete Duel Quiz to help them out. Duel Quizzes allow players to learn how to deal with different situations and typically reward 1000 GP or more when completed, although some quizzes award tickets that can help players get rare cards instead.
There are multiple duel quiz levels which can have up to 21 quizzes which means a massive amount of GP can be obtained from just one level. If players are ready to play, taking these quizzes can help them add more cards to their collection and help them understand the effects of various cards as an added benefit.
The Extra Deck can still be present in Rush Duels, but it’s rarely used and fans no longer have to worry about their opponent’s spam summoning or monsters constantly returning to and from them, like they had to with elemental heroes and neospacians, at least until they had Rush Duel versions.
Although the Rush Duel format does have a few mergers, they aren’t seen often and look like they did in the classic Yu-Gi-Oh format after the first card games were released – when they were not. encountered only in high-level play and the Polymerization Spell Card was necessary for all.
2 Maximum monsters are new and powerful
While the previously introduced Extra Deck and Pendulum Summon monsters are a thing of the past, Rush Duels still introduces a new type of monster known as Maximum Monsters. These combine three separate cards to form a creature that occupies all of a player’s monster card areas.
When maximum summoned, maximum monsters count as a single monster and can only attack once. Maximum monsters also use their maximum attack points when maximum summoned, instead of using the attack points listed on the three individual cards. 1 Losing still has minor advantages
