Bandai Namco has removed Denuvo from Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown

Yesterday we informed you about the removal of Denuvo anti-sabotage technology from Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Rise of the Tomb Raider. And today we have another game that no longer offers Denuvo.

Bandai Namco has released a brand new update for Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown that removes this controversial anti-sabotage technology. Bandai Namco hasn’t revealed its full changelog, so we don’t know if there are any other changes or adjustments.

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown was released on PC in February 2019. In other words, it took Bandai Namco more than two years to remove Denuvo from it.

The game is expected to return to the Usean continent since ACE COMBAT 3 and ACE COMBAT 4. Its story revolves around the Second Usean Continental War, following an attack by an army of unmanned aircraft.

Finally, Ace combat 7 uses Unreal Engine 4 and performs well on a wide range of PC configurations!
